Anyway, there was context between me reading this secret and then looking up this seemingly random article but I already forgot it. Tbh I didn't really care about the whole Sesshoumaru/Rin thing because I was too busy being annoyed at how incredibly stupid the rest of the episode was (oh look a random dude Kagome has never met before shows up knowing exactly who she is to tell her about some comet thing and how to stop it and we will all just unquestioningly believe him because why not).

I don't really care about the pairing, but couldn't they have made Rin at least look old enough to be having children?

I know, this was my reaction too. I didn't specifically care for the ship but I was fine if they made it happen, but this secret is the first image I've seen of the new show and it freaks me out a little how much Rin looks exactly like she did as a kid. They couldn't have considered changing up the design?

I think they didn't change the design to keep her recognizable, but agree that they could have approached it another way.

Just because Sesshomaru spent most time around a toddler does not mean he had to end up fucking her simply because she was the only uterus in a 10 ft radius.

Don't know what kind of bubble you live in where this outrage is unjustified. Think of the hundreds of found family tropes where an adult takes care of a kid. Now imagine the only reason the adult takes care of the kid is to eventually fuck them. It's gross as fuck.

I'm guessing the only reason people are defending this is because they self-insert into the toddler character to the point they've forgotten she is, in fact, a toddler.
