Ah, scratch that, a few people expect Mr. Darcy, meaning Colin Firth actually physically at their door with roses, but there are facilities for them. However, your cat scenario? Doesn't sound half bad, if the alternative is getting hitched to a mopey guy like you who's intimidated by admiration for a fictional character. This is why women hate men. And the cycle continues.

Really? Because this one doesn't. This one thinks the OP is a little bit justified, seeing as how many girls I've heard say that "no guy will ever live up to their expectations, now that they've seen X character." We women go on about how men have been spoiled with comic book girls that are nothing but gratuitous T&A and have no idea what a real woman looks like, but then guys can't get upset at some girls and their unrealistic expectations? It goes both ways, bb

I don't think I've ever done that. I'm interested in guys who want a little more than a nice set and a certain waist size - the guys stuck to their comic books can stay there. :|
I might have worded it poorly, in fact I'm pretty sure I did, but I suppose what I was trying to say was not that all women hate men, just that this is one of the reasons certain women have for hating them (and yes, that is a thinly veiled attempt to admit that I'm among them). I appreciate your point and understand what you're saying, but it just seems to me that if OP was self-assured and liked himself, he wouldn't be upset by these secrets. Why should a few women being obsessed with House or the Doctor piss him off so much? I certainly don't care that Pablo's over there surfing the web for airbrushed women with huge boobs - he can look all he wants and I don't feel any uglier. If a woman has unrealistic expectations, then she'll probably never be happy, but she has a right to those expectations and that unhappiness. There is a veritable sea of women out there, and plenty who expect hardly anything at all. He's sure to find someone,isn't he?
