I fucked up. I missed something in a document. The kind of trifling little detail that's hidden in mealy mouthed language so you don't realise it's a huge massive fucking deal.

And me, being a complete novice at the time, just up and missed it as being significant.

And now I need to shell out $35,000 to sort it the fuck out.

If you ever buy a house, check fucking everything in the buyers survey. Even things you don't think will be an issue - look at how much it will cost to fix it should it rear its ugly damn head.
