Uh.
Grieving in TV/movies is usually kinda weird and/or overly dramatic in some fashion and a often does seem fake. But. Some of it is based on real life and actual reactions by actual people.

And honestly, the 'five stages' thing? Is hardly a template. I certainly didn't 'bargin' over my dad's corpse, nor did I deny he was dead. I wasn't particularly angry, and I would not say I am now or ever was 'depressed' over his death. But when I was lone that night? I fucking cried until I couldn't anymore.
