It took me forever to find the text on it and I still couldn't read it. Is Darker than BLACK an anime?

Yeah - It was an original anime from studio BONES. I think they started serializing it after it aired.. but I'm not 100% on that. It just started getting released by funimation, but you can find the original Japanese (which has an amazing voice acting cast, imo.) all over the place.

It's really great. It's super low paced, fairly bloody and sad, but it has bits of humor injected into it.

Hei is just about my favorite protagonist ever though. He is my icon =P

Not the OP and I stopped watching Heroes a long time ago, but here's the thing -- as long as it's in existence, it's sapping viewers, attention and money away from shows that could otherwise flourish. So, you go right on enjoying it while it's here, but I'm still going to be here gleefully awaiting it's demise.

I don't even watch Heroes really. As for sapping viewers, attention and money from other shows...shows like what? Can you give me an example? Why aren't those shows already getting viewers if they're so good? Isn't this all just a matter of opinion? I just think wishing for a show's cancellation is rather mean spirited. I mean people still enjoy it. I wouldn't want anybody wishing my favorite show was canceled just so people would watch something else.

Yes, yes it is a matter of opinion. And I don't care if people wish my shows are canceled, because all the wishing in the world doesn't make things happen. And it's not just a matter of other existing shows that could do without the competition it's about shows that could be. For all we know there's actually something that could be even better sitting on a shelf just waiting for that timeslot or even a third of its budget.

And yeah, all right. I'll be sad for the people who lose something they like, but it still won't overcome my own happiness at new possibilities.

Jirarudan...or at least that's one way to romanize it. It's what most people go with anyway (and given that he has two English names--Gelarden and Lawrence III--there's really nothing to narrow it down).
