Can't tell you what particular DC comic it's from, but the two guys in the image are Booster Gold (blond guy) and Blue Beetle (the guy in...uh, blue).

Ooh, thanks! Do you personally like the series? I've been pondering about picking up a couple more superhero fandoms.

Mmm, well...I dropped out of comics fandom around 2000 and if it hadn't been for scans_daily, I wouldn't have known who they were. So I'm probably not the best person to ask. Sorry!

Oh that's fine. Heh, I probably should sniff around scans_daily to learn more about them. :P

The series it is from is Booster Gold, the issue is number 10. I personally love the series, it's very well written, although you may not completely get it if you haven't read many comic books. If you are going to start reading comics, I would start with DC's newer Blue Beetle series (which was unfortunately was cancelled), or pick up some of the older (circa 1982-2001) Flash comics, they were a blast. Teen Titans Year one is also a nice starter, and if you like those pick up Justice League International, which contains quite a bit of Booster Gold/Blue Beetle. If you intend on reading Marvel, Cable and Deadpool was a good series, although their current series suck. (They also have good slash potential). Also, Ultimate Spider-Man and Invincible Iron Man are pretty good. I'm not much of a Marvel reader though. Umm.. that's all I have to say, sorry for the block of text.

The series is Booster Gold (the first trade), but reading that part won't make any sense whatsoever, and includes less hoyay than the series they're originally from: Justice League International. Heard about it from F!S, picked up the first three volumes, and it's officially my favourite comic ever. There's also the two spin-offs, Formerly Known as the Justice League and I Can't Believe It's Not Justice League. The latter has another character threaten to call Booster's wife and tell her he and Ted are "more than just friends" to get them to leave her alone. Hi-larity.

Sorry. I'm currently trying to hook my friends on the series. It's fantastic.
