121. Really? McShep is my OTP, but I see many fans for every character on the show, and every pairing you can imagine....I don't get this at all!

144. The ending totally freaked me out...and it was perfect! Really, how else could it have ended?

And where do I find fan fic for the series?!

I can't speak for the OP, but as someone who got into the show late (and is still only on S4), it can be tricky to dig up stuff about other characters and pairings (especially if you're trying to avoid spoilers). Luckily, the person who got me into the show provided me with links (and warned me not to go looking for stuff about Beckett, as he's my favourite character)...

I also know how hard it is sometimes in a fandom with a very dominant pairing, especially if you like a rare pairing.

But, yeah, SGA fandom is pretty awesome, I've found...and, again, I can't speak for the OP...

I guess, since I am one of the newsletter editors, that I get to see just about everything that's posted for SGA...and like I said, there are lots of fans out there for every character and every pairing, if you just look. And I've definitely found that as a whole, the fandom is very welcoming! There's no need to feel like an outsider, and I hope the OP gives us a chance to prove it :)

Yeah. I find it tricky just 'cause I need to do everything possible to avoid spoilers, but once I catch up I'll probably dive in more...

Yeah, as a new fan I've found that as well. Plus, I like to read fic from rec lists, and 99% of the stuff that's rec'd and re-rec'd is McShep.

it's funny how I keep hearing this accusation, but no one ever has any evidence to back it up!
