Yeah, but you don't understand how Japan views Korea. Things can get really personal between those two countries.

True, but the entire affair was still a head/desk for me. I understand somewhat {I won't pretend to be educated on the two countries, heh} why the character of Korea cold have offended some Koreans, I also get that the Koreans and Japanese aren't the best of buds, either. I also think the animators could have given Korea eyes that actually had a soul to them {I almost had nightmares x.x}. But that Korea only decided to kick up a stink after the anime was finished, that Korea doesn't appear much in it at all, and the way the news shows conducted themselves {taking fan art and redistributing without permission is illegal worldwide, I'm pretty sure}, I did eyeroll. They had every right and reason to be offended, but.. yeah x3

Anon, you're saying a)you're not educated on the two countries, b)but you know they have every right and reason to be offended, c)but you rolled your eyes.

If you're in the fandom and you care, maybe you'd like to go study some more on those two countries. "Aren't the best of buds" doesn't even start to describe it.
