126: I don't find a lot of people judging him for the drug addiction, unless I'm just missing that. I do see people judging him for being a manipulative asshole. I've known people who've had pain problems and they were good and kind people. I have my own pain issues (not anywhere near House's level) and I don't think it gives me a carte blanche to be a total fuckwad. Now I love House but I accept he's an asshole period. Pain isn't his excuse.

It's not a competition. But it is frustrating to see people treat her as "the voice of reason" because she is the ideal of what is normal in society. They don't fall into that very narrow definition, therefore they are weird and wrong.

Ah. I can understand that. I do understand her viewpoint sometimes though. I don't think anybody in BBT is the voice of reason though. XD

And to add to that: that's crap. For the most part, they're happy with their lives, and I wish the people who think Penny is always right and who would like to see them "be normal" would accept that.

Y'know it's weird. I was never really into Sapphire. I don't know why. I mean he was cute too, but it was just all about Diamond for me.

You're welcome. I've seen one discussion so far that mentioned that pain can make one cranky, and yeah I'd let pain excuse cranky and snappish. But House isn't cranky and snappish he's a manipulative asshole and he knows exactly what he's doing. It's not like before his leg was messed up he was a kind and wonderful person. Honestly people House is a terrible terrible person, stop making excuses for him and just accept this.

There's cranky, and then there's borrowing more and more money from your best friend to see how much your friendship is worth to him, and then never paying him back. He treats everyone around him like crap, and being in pain doesn't give him the right to hurt other people like he does.

The problem is everyone (including the writers) are so in love with him he always gets a free pass, which is why I GotTFO.

See I give him a free pass cause I don't want the character changing. I want him to be a terrible manipulative asshole cause he's entertaining. I just accept the fact that this is not a good thing it's just an entertaining thing. Though if that's not your thing I understand you not wanting to watch it anymore.

That's too bad, cause that'd be really cool. Well keep searching, maybe they'll do it one day. One person mentioned The Big Bang Theory. That'd be a good show for them to reference pi in.

Hopefully! And yea, The Big Bang Theory would be a perfect show to do it in.
