Because we want to enjoy our television show. I'm not all that worked up to be honest, but I do also say that same thing to people who are like

I've dislike Ruby since she came on but I hated her since they "recycled" her and turned her into MarySuby and became this annoying pointless fixture on the show.

I can't get your tone from this, so I don't know where you really stand, but that is exactly why I stopped watching. 4x09 set in stone the reason I can no longer watch Supernatural. People can reason it to whatever they want, but the fact is Sam violated that body [a demon can't give consent to a body that is not theirs] and it IS necrophilia [since the writer(s) made it their mission to say that coma_girl was dead].

But I understand the sentiment of hating a character so much especially when it's a show you love and still watch.
