There's a plethora of bizarre Giygas theories out there, ranging from how he's a baseball (supposedly because he's round-shaped and Ness hits him with his bat [which can't work really]) and how the player is supposedly God for being the only person to defeat "the ultimate evil" (allusions to Satan).

The baseball one though, wins for being especially lulzy.
