I don't ship Jack/Gwen (or Jack/Ianto... I ship Jack/Ten and Jack/Rose, ftr), but Jack/Ianto shippers can be pretty crazy. I had a friend go off on me just for liking Gwen, and I can't count the number of posts I used to read about how great and perfect and awesome Ianto was and how amazing and true his and Jack's love was, which just annoyed me since I'm not a Ianto fan, lol.

I left the fandom because I got tired of it. :\ I hate that crap. 'Sides, Owen was my favorite. Talk about minority. xD

You want minority? Try being an out and out Tosh fan. :(

Ouch D: I loved Tosh. She was up there with Jack hanging out in second place for me, lol. Love her.

Everyone says they love her, but she's always second place at best. Have you seen how many fanfics she's the focus of? How many pairing fics there are for her?

Sorry, it just makes me depressed. Still, at least she's under the radar enough that she doesn't ever seem to get hate and mudslinging. That would break my heart. I suppose I should be grateful for that. :)

I'd kill for a Tosh as a companion fic!

Personally, I loved Tosh the most when I watched TW1.

But I think she deserves better than any of the other characters, so I don't ship her with anyone.

Try shipping Jack/Tosh.

Hey, there's a minority for Tosh fans? Wait huh? Well I loved her. Though as much as they tried to push it I could never see her with Owen. Oh I liked Owen but something wasn't there.

I don't really venture into the Torchwood realm of things, but PEOPLE DON'T LIKE TOSH? WHY DO PEOPLE NOT LOVE TOSH? TOSH IS THE ONLY COMPETENT ONE.

The problem with the crazy J/I shippers isn't that all J/I shippers are crazy, it's that the crazy ones are freaking loud and out there and constantly have to prove that they're right and everyone else is wrong (and if you flip the coin, there are people on the other side like that, too...it's less often seen because of the fact that J/I is the more popular ship, but I've experienced it first hand and it is just as not pretty as the anti-Gwen and anti-J/G brats).

While I ship J/I I refuse to be one of those fans who can't stand JAck with anyone else. I like Gwen and I hate those Anti-Gwen groups. they creep me out with how mean they are.

The Anti-Gwen groups freak me out, too. I mean, I wasn't overly fond of Gwen at first (and I still just can't ship Jack/Gwen), but hating on her the way they do is just plain wrong on so many levels.

But, as I said, it can be just as bad on the other end, though you'll hear about it less.
