I asked you if you realised not everybody liked jack and all I got was you telling me your feelings on a different subject. And by feelings I mean a really unsubtle advertisement for your fic, which I don't want to know about either.

Also, I shouldn't have to remind you of this, but your opinion ≠ reality.

my point was, not every fan likes jack. I asked you if you realised this, seeing as your comment insinuated jack was some special wonderful guy and we should all like him.

also don't pull any "you never said that~" bullshit, because I did. you essentially told my friend in your (original) comment that she should basically love jack and not question his sex appeal, because you think he is so amazing and I asked you a simple question pertaining to other fans' feelings on him.

how do you not get this yet.

Wouldn't think of it.

The question was "Rhys!" as if that would really stop Jack or Gwen indefinitely, and as if that was an argument against the OP shipping them. (An argument I continue to consider highly spurious, given how often it comes from those who can't stomache the thought of Jack's sexual and emotional attraction to Gwen or ABI.)

My answer was JACK!

And just for the hell of it, even if the Who-verse didn't make it evident that Jack is irresistible to everyone, it is abundantly clear that Gwen wants him and he wants Gwen. It's just a matter of time.

So for all the whiney, flaily, RHYS! The answer is still "JACK!"


In "real life" perhaps some people are immune, so it is two different questions. Shippers can reject J/G because of "RHYS!" (And make it a handy defense against their so-called canon ship) but that doesn't change the nature of the characters.

Jack is Jack.
Jack wants Gwen
Gwen wants Jack

Whether canon gives them both what they want is in the mind of RTD and others, but it won't change the nature of the characters.

in your wall of text I still don't see a clear answer to my original question, but I've asked you 3 times now and all you have done is rambled on about one of your otps and completely ignored what I asked you. how hard is it to simply answer my question - do you realise that not every fan likes jack?

I also don't understand why you seem insistent on leaving both Rhys AND Ianto out of this equation just because they get in the way of your chosen pairing. Remember, not everybody feels the same way as you do, and your word is not god in this fandom.

J/G isn't my chosen pairing, and if you can't live with the fact that infidelity happens in the TW-verse that's not my problem.

I never once said I couldn't live with infidelity in any tv show or even in real life, so good job thinking I do. my first impressions of you were totally correct.
