109. The dub is really that bad? I didn't want to watch it because Caitlin Glass as Haruhi just turned me off. Seriously FUNi, you have at least 3 more VAs who would have been more appropriate and had better acting skills than her =\ And I will not get started on Mignogna.

But trust FUNi in other cases! They do make good dubs =) I think they should stay away from the shoujo though since they haven't had much success with those for some reason.

I liked it too. And it had the rare accomplishment of making me actually enjoy Monica Rial.

Wow - thanks! I was starting to think that I was alone on this.

Granted the dub was the first one I watched since I was really late on getting into this show... but... um... I didn't think it was bad enough to not support the industry and buy the DVDs.

I can honestly say that from my interactions, Funimation is good people. They aren't dubbing this stuff to spite anyone. Promise.

My first exposure to the show was through the dub, so I'm probably biased - but I had no problems with it. It seemed like a decent, solid dub (theme songs not withstanding, because those were sorta eh).

No one watches this show, but the dub for Darker than Black is OK. Of course, I'm used to the Japanese actors... and I love the original Hei. Jason Liebricht is OK though. I also enjoy their dub of Ghost Hunt (at least I think it's FUNi). Plus, you get a real live British November 11 in the English dub =)

People either liked the dub or didn't like the dub - the fandom's kinda split. Personally, Glass really surprised me as Haruhi - when she's dressed as a guy her voice seems a little too girly, but when's she's dressed as a girl that same voice is a little too masculine. Which, for Haruhi, is pretty much perfect.
