Glad I could help! Also, here is last scene of the show if you are curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUgeSJhXNeQ Just an fyi, Simon's death is pretty darn graphic for a children's show.

I really like how Grace and Simon's co-dependence was portrayed. Simon put way too much trust and adoration into that relationship. And while it made Grace a little uncomfortable, she definitely took advantage of it. As I said before, I also liked that their relationship wasn't romantic because we rarely see non-romantic codependent relationships in media. I did like that Simon had a quiet little unrequited crush on Grace, it added a nice layer to their dynamic without dominating the story or fundamentally changing the relationship. Lastly, I loved that the narrative made it clear that both characters were responsible for their actions. Simon's backstory is sympathetic and understandable but he is responsible for his shitty actions. He is given multiple opportunities to be better and he refuses every one of them.
