Both Renaissance and classic era, but definitely leaning towards pre-Frozen? Before the "twist villain" era, certainly.

Still boggling that anyone thought the Hans thing was a twist. He didn't actually wear his "I'm a gold-digger exploiting a naive and lonely princess to get closer to the throne" sash, but it was still telegraphed pretty hard.

Hans reminded me of that "Prince Charmless" guy from that weird Anastasia movie, so I figured he was gonna be the bad guy before he betrayed Anna.

Whether or not you saw something coming from a mile away doesn't make it not a twist. It just means you saw it coming from a mile away while some people didn't.

Also, I don't see what is so "boggling" that some people walked away from the movie with a different experience from yours. Geez.

This is such an incredibly small thing to be offended over.
