Fucking same.

My issue is - I hate 'angst in a can' (someone is raped, someone suddenly hates their best friend/boyfriend/girlfriend, someone has a TRAGIC PAST that they refuse to talk about but is also used as the reason they simply CAN'T DO THIS 'SHIP ANYMORE) - so i have trouble writing 'conflict'; it irritates me in a story when the conflict is one that's mostly easily dealt with, but for 'dramatic' reasons is allowed to rampage through the plot. Or when it's a horribly tropey, cliche kind of conflict.

So i just keep writing life as it happens for the characters, and get stalled out on some kind of big conflict to make the plot move along.
