Reblogging and retweeting, nowadays. I've got friends who are otherwise totally nice and normal people but will, occasionally, flip out about "freaks" writing fic they don't like and share all these posts about it. Like, you don't have to read it! I don't want to read that shit, SO I DON'T! That's all you need to do! Not seek it out in the dankest corners so you can complain about its existence!

See I've gotten to the point in my life where i can't tolerate that sort of behavior from friends anymore, even if they only go off on angry rants once a while.

I had to mute a girl who i like very much irl because it turns out that all her fandom opinions are anti or anti-leaning.

I'm almost 30, i can't imagine my entire fandom existence consisting of being angry about everything. It's just so sad that these people can't see that.

I would not hesitate to cut out such "friends". They're clearly not actually nice and normal.
