I wish I had friends to watch Only Connect with. Partially because it's more fun to play along when you can confer and discuss.
But I also really want to be able to show off when I get questions right.
B!S: I make an embarrassing high-pitched noise when I figure out a particularly satisfying question or
solve the whole wall.

The fact that Only Connect was briefly followed immediately by University Challenge was so satisfying. So many opportunities to be delighted because you got a very hard question right, or were able to identify a Top 10 hit a panel of smug people couldn’t.

I tried watching this show and realized that I am not smart enough to understand it.

I genuinely love the fact that I sometimes have to pause for a minute to understand what the hell the question was, even after it's been revealed and explained.

I LOVE Only Connect, and watch it with my partner (and occasionally family when covid allows), but I understand this sentiment and wish I had more people I could watch it with (especially as I have a number of friends who love it too, but gatherings not a good idea right now)
