Because there are people out there who unironically think something like this is worse than everything else.

She's lied about her ENTIRE backstory, for starters. Her family did NOT die in a fire, and she is not related to Alice Liddell (the inspiration for Alice in Wonderland).

She's also burnt almost every single professional bridge she has (which is why she's gone through so many Crumpets, plus Veronica Varlow has her own controversies), alienated a good bunch of her fans by being rude and dismissive, and had a scandal this past summer where she allegedly blocked and deleted comments from a bunch of POC fans when they asked her why she wasn't donating/raising awareness for BLM.

Wayward Victorian Confessions is a good read if you're up for going down the rabbit hole!
