Re: Favorite Old School AMV/Fanvids/#5
(Anonymous) 2021-03-12 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)2) Harry Potter, "This is War":There were like 50 billion fanvids of "This is War" in the Harry Potter fandom, this is the one I found that I remember watching over and over at the time. https://youtu.be/DFBzZfxkWUg
3) Obi-Wan Kenobi, "Give Me a Sign": There were a LOT of great fanvids in the Star Wars Prequels fandom (I'm saying prequels in particular because this was back where it was still OT vs PT lmao). This is one of the best ones imo. https://youtu.be/iaTSju-pQx0
4) Professor Layton, "Life Without You": One of the earliest fanvids I remember using dialogue extensively, so those parts are a bit rough and unpolished, but I do think that it has a good blend of scenes, lyrics, and meaningful dialogue. https://youtu.be/XkUPIOXMNiE
5) Twelfth Doctor Tribute, "One More Light": This surprisingly recent fanvid might be, like, the ideal fanvid in my opinion. Really melodramatic, sad song by Linkin Park? Check. Effective use of scenes and lyrics? Check. Good use of dialogue and sound from the show? Check. https://youtu.be/bXaaXh-GdJA
