There are 3 fics on AO3 whose title is the best phrase from the saddest REM song

and I have to ask - only 3? what the hell are the rest of you doing

Indeed, there are a lot of sad REM songs with good phrases. Clarify! We might even help. ;)

(I'm pretty sure I'm not one of the three, I think I only have one fic up there with an REM-related title, and the title itself is a common phrase and the song that prompted me to use it is more angry/defiant than sad.)

It's obviously Nightswimming! Not their best song but definitely their saddest

(and the phrase is "of recklessness and water" but i screwed up the search last night and there's actually 7 not 3)
