Re: What Movie Adaptation Would you like to see?

A decent Jean Grey/Phoenix movie that goes past her origin because apparently movie scripts like to play it safe with her. Something about her coming back to earth after 100 years just to come back to a dystopian like world and discover all the X-Men are dead and the mutant hunter machines (I forgot the name) are trying to get the few mutants left and there is a human resistance trying to fight them back. Featuring Cable and other less known mutants.

I'LL WRITE IT MYSELF IF I HAVE TO.

I don't want this to happen for the same reason I hated Logan. Killing off all the other characters just to give one single character an angsty storyline is stupid, cheep, and bad storytelling in my opinion. Yes to a decent Jean movie. But no to one that involves all the other X-Men dead.

You not liking it is no reason to shit on epicurean's storyline that they clearly like.

Wolverine movies, specially the last one managed to pull it off. The only reason I want them dead is because I'm tired of seeing the same old wangst involving the X-men and Jean Grey/Phoenix because it's just recycling the same story of Jean becoming Phoenix -> Phoenix takes over and is evil -> they kill Jean -> Angst until she comes back.

Another option is not killing them but having Jean move on, her and Scott having a friendly divorce instead of whatever they've been trying to do, and her training a new X team and becoming a mentor, her going on her own adventures, etc.
