AYRT yeah if it gets to a pathological level. In my case when I feel in despair I don't want to eat anymore and end up losing a few dozen pounds. Anorexia nervosa often just pairs that with "well, but people seem to appreciate me better like this so whatever" and the high that you get on a physiological level that helps masking the sorrow and all that. It's not that bad at first if it's just losing extra weight (though yes there's an imbalance of fat/proteins etc.) but it can get to a pathological level so be careful.
