Eating popcorn. My dog: Can i have a piece of popcorn please. Me: You don't like popcorn, remember? My dog: But I want a piece. Me: Okay. But you won't like it. (I give my dog a piece of popcorn.) My dog: *smacks the piece of popcorn in her mouth, then spits it out. Picks it up again, chews it a few times, spits out multiple, smaller, slimier pieces of popcorn. Continues to repeat the process of chewing and spitting out the popcorn until it is nothing but slimy little chewed up bits that I now have clean up. My dog: Can i have another piece of popcorn.

That reminds me of that time I tried feeding my turtle a cranberry (I'd come across some "gourmet" aquatic turtle food that included unsweetened dried cranberries, so I tried giving her a thawed frozen cranberry).

She chomped down on it immediately, then spit it out. She then didn't realize that this red thing floating in front of her was something she had just spit out so she tried eating it again, only to spit it out again. Repeat a few more times until I took it out of the water and threw it away.
