Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about that. Most of what I remember of Onmyoji was Hiromasa being adorable and good-hearted (and having the worst luck), and Seimei being very much 'I'm not sure how much I want in the way of human emotions, but this is my adorable idiot, and I will slaughter anyone who hurts him'. Also Seimei making the fox face. It's a memorable face.

Yeah, I'll be honest- one of the biggest issue for me was that Qing Ming's (the Seimei version of the CN movie) face wasn't nearly foxy enough. Especially since they actually kept the "his mother is rumoured to be a fox demon" part. But I'm biased because I simply adore Nomura Mansai and he was absolutely perfect in the role. I am a simple person like that.
