Re: Bathing question
I don’t know what it’s like to suffer it but the eczema thing makes those parents sound perfectly reasonable tbh. If a bath or shower every night causes their kids real discomfort, isn’t that worse? Wow, people throw around child abuse too easily. Aren’t really young babies often only given a shallow bath with a soft sponge every couple of days or so as well? That’s what my sister did and she said it was fine. My niece and nephew are still alive so it clearly didn’t do any harm.

(Anonymous) 2021-03-26 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)Most of my parent's generation grew up with a once a week bath night and flannel wash the other nights and they all survived. Yeah babies you only bathe infrequently.
People are far too quick to throw that phrase around these days.
