I think it was 199y so I would have been 26, and it was definitely X-Files, MSR.

I just looked at that date on Gossamer, and I definitely read Cheapened Things that far back, and yes, the website with all of the fic archives is still around.

Oh man, Gossamer. <3 I have so much love and respect for TXF fandom, to this day. I didn't get into the fandom until a bit later on, but I went back and read just about everything that was MSR.

I don't remember what happens in Cheapened Things, but for some reason my brain remembers it was by MD1016.
