I mean, I'm not agreeing with everything you said here but +1 to the part about people whining about Mongol and Ottoman antagonists. Like... it really shows ITT as well that a lot of people honestly seem to believe that white empires were ever the only expansive invading forces in the world which says a whole lot about their historical knowledge or lack thereof.

*sigh* Is anyone actually arguing that there aren't historical examples of non-white invading forces? I think the problem is that they're disproportionately represented as villains in fiction/narratives.
