111 -- You don't owe anyone sex. If this man truly loves you, then you do owe him the truth, even if it takes a while to find the courage to tell it. If he doesn't love you enough to help you work through your issues, and put off sex until you do, then you shouldn't be having sex with him. Your body belongs to no one but yourself. Own it, and take back what that abusive scum took from you. You're strong enough to do that.

Not that I want to play devil's advocate on purpose, but what if the OP doesn't get over it even if their partner still loves them?

The OP appears to have a therapist, and has demonstrated the strength to find a coping mechanism, as well as the strength to make the abuser an ex. I'm sure the OP can find the strength to reach a level of healing where sex isn't a hated thing, especially with a loving partner who would be willing to adjust their activities accordingly. Perhaps a different position would be less triggery, for example.

Regardless, the OP still doesn't owe anyone sex, under any circumstances. Not that giving in makes the OP weak or bad or wrong -- that's a choice, too, but the OP should own that choice, and view it as a choice.

No worries. I just figured it might be a question the OP would ask.
