121. I don't really think those (these?) kind of secrets are pathetic or bad. In a way, they do save you. When I got into my fandom I was having a horrible year and some bad shit happened, and quite frankly fandom took my mind off those and I found myself focusing on things a little better due to a better mindset.

129. That's....bizarre. Not Draco/Hermione but avoiding the books and only reading slash fanfiction...I guess understanding the things in the story doesn't matter as much as "lol two peens!" huh?

135. Yea I don't get the "IS" thing either. It just kinda sounds retardded after a while (hypocrite says what? I've said it a few times x.x;). I also don't get it when someone replies to a comment with nothing but "THIS". Whatever happened to saying "I Agree!" or whatever? That's just weird.

160. Awww D: Quite honestly, if you choose a nice costume, put it together well, and hey - put your own spin on it too! I think you'll be fine. Nothing wrong with being a "fat cosplayer". The only "fat cosplayers" that have gotten on my nerves are those that seem to go out of their way to make unflattering and costumes that would, quite frankly, look junky on a person of ANY size.

Not necessarily. Slash fic can have plots too that tell the person what they need to do about the universe for the story. I've read fic where I didn't know the canon and I suppose I could even start to like a certain pairing (slash or otherwise) from that. You don't have to care about the canon to follow fic.

I've read fanfic for series I haven't read or watched the canon (or much of the canon) for, before. Usually it's because I really like what I've seen of the canon but haven't had access to it (no TV, no money for books, whatever) but the fic is sitting there free on the Internet.

I admit it does sometimes give me a somewhat skewed image of the universe in question, when I finally get around to seeing the canon. But it's better than nothing! :-)
