I....don't actually feel like he's wildly creative, lmao, it's just riddles and math with some punny linguistics. I mean I LOVE it, but it's just abstracted logic? Anyway, it's not drugs, but I do think that people who don't do a lot of mathy thoughts, do a lot more abstracted logic on drugs, so I understand the connection. People who don't do a lot of mathy thoughts also think most writers aren't doing mathy thoughts either (culturally there's this thing where people good at language are not good at math which is WILD to me), but they know there's a mythos of authors who historically got philosophical on drugs. It's just bad logic OP, but I do think it's understandable logic. Carrollian if I might say.
