I thought Gaby from Man from U.N.C.L.E. was pretty freaking cool. She had her own spy background. She had agency. The guys got in peril and had to be rescued. Gaby's actions have to be re-examined in a different light because it turns out she was undercover the whole time unbeknownst to them. She puts *herself* in peril to complete the job. It's very much a trio of competent people. I wish there'd been a sequel.
