It is a mix for me, honestly. It depends on what the art is of. For porny art, I want realistic art. It needs to be realistic to be sexy to me. But for other things, for scenes and character art, I love a lot of the stylized stuff in the Tolkien fandom. We have some really amazing artists.

Opposite for me. Highly realistic porny fanart is just never hot to me. Stylized fanart sometimes is though.

Hmmm. That's interesting. I guess I've always been very visual. Realistic Porny fanart just is like porn to me, which I get turned on by, except of characters I love. It has to be actually good art, though. Badly drawn stuff that doesn't look good or real won't work.

Yeah, I'm not into porn. I've never found it remotely hot. By contrast stylized art can be hot because it allows certain things to be depicted in a way that shapes what the image is telling you. If I see a realistic dick, I'm like, "That is a dick." I would have to be about ten times hornier than I am for merely the image of a dick to be arousing to me. If I see a drawing of a very red dick with little squiggles around it like its throbbing, now we're talking. Now the image is conveying arousing information to me.
