(Anonymous) 2021-03-29 06:30 am (UTC)(link)A lot of Black bears just casually wander into backyards the closer you are to the forested areas so all you really need to do is just give them space and they go on their way for the most part. They're pretty disinterested in humans as long as you don't leave food out like an idiot, though depends on the species on how chill they are.
Honestly Australia seems more terrifying because of all the venomous insects/arachnids. I'm allergic so I'd honestly rather face a disinterested black bear than spiders in my shoes or smth.
