Her comics are cute, but what seems to have started out as a sly poke at certain parts of the fandom has morphed into full "fixing canon" territory. That's her perogative, of course, but there is a big group of people out there who just don't seem to get that the show is aimed at the 7-12 segment, and who complain A LOT about the writing choices. That, in combination with the parts of the fandom that stand ready to take every word from the writers at the very worst meaning (that recent wank about Dragon Lady, sheesh) means that there is a lot of negativity around for what is essentially a cute monster of the week superhero show. Case of point: Above comment.

The show isn't clever and it never tried to be, but it IS funny and cute and has one of extremely few not-quite-canon-yet pairings where the will they or won't they is just precious.
