Re: To people ITT
(Anonymous) 2021-04-02 01:03 am (UTC)(link)I've never complained about the physics in Roadrunner cartoons, but even though I love the movie Speed, when the bus jumps that section, I always think, "Yeah, physics doesn't work that way," and when I watch Live Free or Die Hard and the fighter jet shows up, I think, "No, you can't do that with an F-35." I'm pretty good at suspension of disbelief (action movies are my favorite genre), but sometimes it is really difficult to accept something so counter to my knowledge, even knowing the fictional universe rules are different from the real world.
