I never took it that he was doing it when he didn't want to? people kind of forget the first entry of his I made. where he's all. I need a lab. And a way to spirit people away so no one will notice lol. because he wanted to continue experimenting.

the way I saw it WAS as a kind of madness. an obsession that he got too caught up in. being dragged away from it at Paradisa sort of made him realize exactly where all those experiments were leading.. to eventual chaos, the downfall of himself and his comrades, and a great deal of death. when you're caught up in an obsession all you can think about is obtaining your goal, not necessarily the consequences. but Paradisa jarred him out of that, and it's changed his view completely.

and yes, he's being irrationally biased against Xehanort. It's not even that he really believes it was all Xehanort's fault. He knows he was equally at fault. He just wants someone to pin the blame on, really.

Thanks for explaining that! *Dies* Though like, Xemnas is all D: 'cause yeah. Like I told you, he has like a TRUCKLOAD of respect for Xaldin. It stems FROM the original apprentices, you know? Think they can reach a truce in-game and stuff once they realise things weren't really as bad as they were making 'em?

Yes XD I feel really bad for poor Xemnas! Dilan is already thinking he totally misjudged the situation and he's all, shit. I could see them hashing out some sort of truce eventually XD Dilan's response was kind of instinctive, since he was EXPECTING trouble? And when it didn't come he was like wait .. .. oh. Damn. XD

*diesss* Yeah, Xemnas is all like ._. I shouldn't bother him if he hates me/whatever and that's why he doesn't want him bothering with what he's doing. Though I can so see him protecting Dilan n'stuff in some sort of accident and being all... >| That was unintentional. *dies*
