If it bothered them that much, they should have said something. Places like this stir up drama that can so easily be avoided otherwise. And as it goes, drama in big RPs? Not ever good :| I don't mean to offend others here, but this is all so ridiculous.

The threads above reveal that the person had no other place to say it than in a secret since they don't talk to the person or know them. Personally I think the drama only comes when it's fueled and people get all OMGLOLWANK.

The secret community IS for anonymity, and it's when people blow it out of proportion that it GETS out of proportion. Instead of accusation, if discussions can be made, I think there'll be lesser wank.

As far as I can tell, all this drama is kind of being caused by all the rest of the people from the comm. So one person happened to submit a secret that said, I think this one character is OOC, and here we have like, ten? or so people jumping in and being all paradisa is great! paradisa is wonderful! and spamming half the page in comments? And that's exactly what happened last time too, with people being all OUTRAGE@!!!!! (while at the same time claiming that their opinion was worthless) at the opinion of... one person.

I mean... I don't know anything about paradisa but maybe it's you guys that need to just chill and accept that hey, some people will always think other people are OOC.

Regardless, the comm is a neutral party in this.

Which I am very glad to see running. (FS, that is!) I think it's a wonderful idea, and that people need to laugh more, think others are a serious threat or that their opinion needs to affect you less. ♥ (At least with IC/OOC in a random panfandom RPG.)

Yeah, I think it's mostly the wtf!! someone's attacking us!! DEFENSE!! gut-reaction that causes most of it. *dies* After a while everyone's just kinda like, what were we even so angry about?

That's true. Mob mentality XD;; But it's the first thing that comes to mind when you see one of your friends being attacked.

Needless to say, both sides need to take a step back. I really hope this is the last of this kind of stuff. I doubt it, though.

I apologize too, all of this is making me bitchy, and I rarely step into RP drama XD;

... it's kind of like having a kid, and then people say he doesn't bathe or something. Of course you're going to be like "OF COURSE HE DOES please don't look at me funny he's a nice kid I swear? :D"

People have been getting really aggressive toward everyone else in this community lately as it is ... it's as though everyone's looking for an excuse to start something.

This place is about secrets. You might not agree with someone's secret, but you'd think people would be civil about it.

People post here to say what they can't say anywhere else, and then people tear into them over it because they don't agree. The whole system here is getting pretty bad in my humble opinion. Anonymous posts are running rampant here where people see an opening to just say whatever they want to others regardless. If it's not related to the secret or something, just stop it. I don't care whether someone pisses you off outside of the secret at hand, just stop it. The secrets are becoming less and less related to fandom and more like personal vendettas.

I discussed some issues with Shahni the other night on the phone, and well ... this place has been getting really ridiculous lately as far as the desire to create nonstop wank.
