123. Well, why didn't you just say "where the fuck" did that come from instead of "wtf?" People pick shit up. That's how language adapts to it's surroundings and why Americans and Brits don't use the exact same vocabulary.

Well A. Wtf has been around a long time where as the THIS thing seems new... B. It's a way to eliminate "fuck" even if we all know what it means and C. I like it xD It's at least a phrase while THIS is just...what...A word? Oooh.

It's probably more of a pet peeve than anything.

So, you personally don't like it. That's a far cry from the OP's original statement--calling everyone who uses "this" sheep.

Also, 'wtf' isn't a phrase, it's an acronym for one. *nitpicks*

I do think they're sheep for just using it everywhere :P But more than anything it's a pet peeve to me.

Yea but it's still... "what the fuck", three words. THIS doesn't stand for anything (besides the obvious I agree, you go dude, etc.), it's just there.

By your own logic, you're also sheep for using "wtf" which was created by people on the internet who wanted to shorten a phrase.

Also, you just negated your own argument by stating that 'this' stands for "I agree." So it does mean something.

You have every right not to like it, but I think it's a bit hypocritical to call people sheep for using netspeak considering you use it too.

Maybe :P Although I like to think it's because I like "wtf" rather than "Ohhhhh goody everyone else is using it! I must jump trend whether or not I like it."

I mean as in WTF is an acronym. THIS is not an acronym for "I agree" so no, you need to like...read better lol.
