Eh, I'm an ungrateful, whiny, deceitful, obsessive, lazy, melodramatic, irrational, manipulative little so-and-so. But despite recognizing my flaws, I don't do a thing to try to change myself. So I guess I'm defeatist, too.

Could just be your age.

Either way, I think you should tell somebody you trust that you feel that way about yourself. Perhaps you're judging yourself far more harshly than you need to. Or maybe your expectations are too high? We're all a little like that, everybody's got flaws.

You...could be right. You have a point. That would probably be the smart thing to do, but I guess I'm afraid of how people would react to being disillusioned about me.
