104. God, thank you D: I am so sick of people who think Japan farts rainbows and that they'll get more respect there for their encyclopeadic knowledge of anime. Because SHOCK it doesn't and they won't! (don't get me wrong, I liked Japan just fine when I was living there, but it's not any better or worse than any other place on earth)

I would love to go there, but know full well I'm going to be a dirty gaijin otaku. I think I'd be buying anime stuff like porn - in a brown paper bag that I quickly stuff into my bag and only look at when you get back to the hotel ;)

Hee XD I think liking and buying anime there is not in the least bit shameful, I just am tired of people who think that knowing lots of anime = knowing lots about Japan and automatic acceptance there/Japan is a paradise full of awesome.

I mean, that was bleeding obvious before I ever went there, and it's not like I was there for a long time or have specialist knowledge, so I think it's just a brain block some people have D:
