Edward Cullen doesn't deserve the divine awesomeness that is Aretha Franklin's inauguration hat! D:

(I can see that being the plot of a spin-off Twilight series, though. Edward must find the Item of Sparkles to keep his vampire self from becoming mortal, and it turns out Aretha has it and has to go into kick-ass vampire bounty-hunting mode. ...*goes off to write crack fic*)

Umm I don't know if you're aware, but Edward Cullen does not actually exist. And while you're entitled to you're opinion that Cullen doesn't deserve the hat, RPattz most certainly does. *nods*

(If you write the crack fic, I just might read it though. Although come to think of it, he probably wouldn't go in search of the hat purely because he'd fucking love being mortal again /srs bsns)
