Snyderverse does it all in slow motion and talks endlessly about how the heroes are gods and it lasts four hours

Not especially. Watchmen was a mostly unwatchable mess that tried to copy frame for frame from a work that was very much about 80s existential political horror and failed to make the translation to the 21st century. Not seen anything else he's done as a director. As a writer/producer, Aquaman and Wonder Woman didn't completely suck. Small praise but better than any Avengers title.

I guess I should say something nice about MCU for balance so, here's what's nice about the MCU:

The effects are slick.
They employ some good storyboard artists.
They spend millions of production hours in my home state.

So there you go, nice things about the MCU.
