By the way I was also saying that because for some people here a 17 year old dating a 50 year old is problematic but the moment they turn 18 it isn't.

This is not a matter of grammar you absolute dolt. If you actually cared about real children and young people you wouldn't be so absolutely blasé about a term for a real life atrocity getting misused so frequently by assholes who can't tell reality from fiction that it's starting to lose all credibility and impact. People are starting to not take actual accusations of pedophilia as seriously anymore because dipshits like you are misusing it for everything you don't like.

Yeah talk to me about "caring for real children and people" after spend a fucking year midpandemic doing social work for (mostly) kids who were abused lol. Again I don't care for the correct word all I know is abuse of minors should be stopped. And if not promoting weird fetishes is what it takes to help sounds pretty damn easy to me.

Because I actually work with abused children for a living, and pretty much every single person in the field would dearly love to exile antikind to a deserted island with no internet access for approximately the next millennium. Your idiotic bullshit fucks with the signal-to-noise ratio and means we have to waste precious time playing 'legit report or internet Karen'. You're just this generation's repeat of the dumbfucks who were certain D&D would open their kids up for demonic possession, and we hate you.

BTW, if you were actually in the field, you'd know children are infinitely more likely to be groomed for abuse using standard Disney properties or other age-appropriate fare than some fan's MA-rated kink fic, so maybe go scream at a megacorp for a while.

Turns out, yes I did. And I don't feel aligned with "people in the field" because everyone pretends to be so "open minded" but at the end of the day they're every bit conservative when it comes to their loved ones because they know what actually works and what does not. While I don't think D&D opens up anyone for demonic possession (?) I respect people and religions that believe demonic possession is a thing and if that's what they believe in, whatever, who am I to go on a pro-D&D crusade? Of course, everything has a limit and obviously driving someone to auto-mutilation or worse (as I read on F!S that some "antis" did to "pro-shippers" or whatever) isn't good in any scenario but still. And don't worry I do scream at them too.
