"You are a woman, aren't you?" he said to a Kenyan woman, who was presenting him with a small gift in 1984.

"If you stay here much longer you will all be slitty-eyed," the Prince told British exchange students who lived in Xian in 1986.

"I don't think a prostitute is more moral than a wife, but they are doing the same thing," when dismissing claims those who slaughter for meat have greater moral authority than those who partake in blood sports in 1988.

"How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to pass the test?" he asked a Scottish driving instructor in 1995.

"You managed not to get eaten then?" the Prince asked a British student who had been trekking in Papua New Guinea, in 1998.

"Deaf? If you're near there, no wonder you are deaf," he told a group of deaf school children, who were nearby a Caribbean steel drum band in 2000.

"Do you still throw spears at each other?" he asked a group of Indigenous Australians in 2002, while on a visit to Australia with the Queen.

"That's a nice tie ... Do you have any knickers in that material?" he asked Annabel Goldie, the Scottish Conservative leader, when welcoming Benedict XVI to Edinburgh in 2010.

"The Philippines must be half-empty — you're all here running the NHS," he told nurses at Luton and Dunstable Hospital in 2013.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnope fuck this guy! The world's better off without him :)

Philip was patron of some 800 organisations, particularly focused on the environment, industry, sport, and education. His first solo engagement as Duke of Edinburgh was in March 1948, presenting prizes at the boxing finals of the London Federation of Boys' Clubs at the Royal Albert Hall.[79] He was president of the National Playing Fields Association (now known as Fields in Trust) for 64 years, from 1947 until his grandson Prince William took over the role in 2013.[80] He served as UK president of the World Wildlife Fund from 1961 to 1982, international president from 1981, and president emeritus from 1996.[70] In 1952, he became patron of The Industrial Society (since renamed The Work Foundation).[81][page needed] Between 1959 and 1965 Prince Philip was the President of BAFTA.[82] He was president of the International Equestrian Federation from 1964 to 1986,[83] and served as chancellor of the universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Salford, and Wales.[84] In 2017, the British Heart Foundation thanked Prince Philip for being its patron for 55 years, during which time, in addition to organising fundraisers, he "supported the creation of nine BHF-funded centres of excellence".[85] He was an Honorary Fellow of St Edmund's College, Cambridge.[86]

Also patron to:
• Action Medical Research, The Association for Science Education, Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland, Book Aid International, Braemar Mountain Rescue Association, British Heart Foundation, Capability Scotland, Charities Aid Foundation, Egham and Thorpe Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Association, Royal Scottish Academy, The Gallipoli Association, Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, George Cross Island Association, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Marine Biological Association, Muscular Dystrophy UK, Round Table Great Britain and Ireland, Royal Air Force Museum, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Society for Nautical Research, The Cartoon Museum, The Pakistan Society, and the Globe Theatre, along with some 700 others.

Yeah. What a monster. How dare he, uh, actually help people? Instead of being polite and useless? Golly. Dreadful.

And? Literally every member of the royal family has accolades out the ass for pouring money into various social/community services. They'd get drawn and quartered if they didn't do at least that much, for how disgustingly wealthy they are on the citizen's money. And it turns out most of them manage to do it without being hideous racists/sexists/etc.

Well, sort of. Some of them. Anyway, Philip was a bad person who spent money that didn't belong to him in ways that would make him look good, surprise of surprises.

da but uh
gotta ask
by what the hell kinda definition was it money that 『didn't belong to him』? the brits gave him access to the money and he spent it on conservation and hospitals. trump got the same and spent it on golf. imelda marcos bought three thousand pairs of shoes.
pissing and moaning that he was just doing good to look good is whiny as fuck.
