172-post your fics and don't worry about the lack of reviews. It never ceases to amaze me that some of the best fics in who fandom get few reviews while crappy fics gets tons.
174-it works both ways. Old skool fans hate the new series and new skool hates the old series.

A lot of people enjoy both series.

Of all the (50+) people I know who like Classic Who, exactly one person doesn't also like New Who (which is not to say that they find New Who unproblematic or like everything about it, but they're Doctor Who fans, rather than fans of a single part of Who.)

The OP of 174 provided some definite fail, but you ... just failed SO FUCKING MUCH HARDER! Wow, I'm in awe. Good job with that.

I've de-friend people over their blind hatred of new and old who.
Both series have their good points, bad points and in between points.
I can take or leave certain episodes of both series.

I guess I'm shallow that way.
