Oh God, that movie. It was so hilariously awful, but Charlie and the Cullens were pretty awesome.

I loved that scene where Charlie is polishing his gun, and cocks it when Bella said Edward is coming in.

I was just like "...hell yea, Charlie. >3"

Totally! I mean, I kind of cringed when I wrote that... ("OMG, I'm admitting I saw it..."), but Charlie makes it a little bit of win.

I'm probably going to be seeing it again with a Twi-fan friend who I loves dearly, and the whole time I'll be thinking, "Come on, Charlie scene! Charlie scene!"

BTW - Charlie cocking shotgun = awesomeness.

Well, it's sort of what I've always said. The books and movies are awful in their narration, Bella and Edward are horrific role models, and their relationship was disgusting.

Buuuut.

A lot of the other characters were pretty interesting, and they got shoved into the background when they could have molded such a better story than all the other people.

Like Carlisle. They didn't even show his background in the movie, and there was only one chapter on him in the entire series.

Which is such a pity because he was pretty badass. So is Alice :>
