122 - Just about the original font of all Harley-based knowledge would disagree with you there. She's written an article about H/I and why that relationship is just as "unhealthy" (or unorthadox, depending on your viewpoint) as H/J. 174 - I kinda assumed it was because of the original names; Horn-Rimmed-Glasses guy and Cigarette Smoking Man! Imagine a fight to the death. That'd be scary-awesome.

122: Okay I'll admit I didn't not read the whole thing cause it's long and I quite frankly don't care that much. However, in the first couple paragraphs it is stated that Ivy abuses her to a lesser degree. That does make a difference. Also I prefer Ivy cause it takes away the Stockholm Syndrome from the relationship. Somehow it's Harley's pure obsessiveness that creeps me out sometimes. I find my comments on this hypocritical anyway cause truth told 90% of the time I ignore the abuse of all parties, shrug and ship it anyway. Both I mean. Maybe I should start shipping Joker/Ivy XD Oh and I ship Harley/Scarecrow which is entirely the fault of that one episode of B:TAS with the abusive guard at Arkham. Sorry...rambling.

The author of that article has written some pretty epic (well, completely epic actually) Joker/Harley/Ivy if you want to avoid the Joker-or-Ivy arguments. It's even got vine bondage. *happy sigh*

I'll happily casually ship Harl with everyone under the sun, so I dig the Scarecrow ambition as well! I've only ever seen Harleen (pre-Joker)/Nolanverse!Crane fics though...

Bothered? Oh heavens no! I've got so many ships I've got a navy fleet. And if I don't ship it, I tend me peaceful towards it. Getting all uppity about fictional characters screws with my happy vibe.

Everyone's allowed to disagree with everyone Mr/Ms Anonymous, this is the interweb! That's the beauty of it. I was just providing a link to an alternative argument from someone who's spent an awful lot of time and effort thinking about it. And holding strong views isn't automatically bias, so unless you come up with something to support that not very nice comment I'll decline to respond.

I couldn't get passed the first post because my brain shut down in defense mode. And no, that's not critical thinking. That's fanwank to the extreme, twisting scenarios and words just to fit their narrow views. Oh, and attacking people for having dissident views? Nice. If that person's arguments had weight they wouldn't get defensive. I would suggest you do the same, judging by you calling the OP a 'special snowflake' just because they didn't share your opinion. Not everyone is going to share your silly clown porn kink, kthxbai.

If you'll note the context, I referred to the OP as a special snowflake in confusion at why posting a bald statement of a majority opinion is considered secret-worthy.

Well when I first got into JxHQ-ness I probably would have said that H/I was obviously a less screwed up relationship too, but princessebee's argument was convincing enough for me to change my mind and go with the "they're all screwed up!" theory! I just thought that other folks might be interested in hearing that angle too! ;D
