I'm thinking of this too!

Part of it is I haven't written smut much before, and I know some of the things I like to read are considered "badly written smut."

But the other is... you'd have to try, but my main fan stuff is loosely connected to my real life stuff (the art makes it obvious as well as my work field). And I know society's a lot more prudish, and women, especially/even scientists, do receive a lot of harassment on the internet. I don't want people to easily connect these activities
